WHO ARE OAKPAY?

OakPay is a division of Oakpont Professionals Pty Ltd. We specalise in payroll services  for contractors around Australia, primarily in the IT industry.

WHEN WILL I GET PAID?

Your payment frequency can be alEither fortnightly or monthly. You can choose  our friendly team will process your pay on the frequency you need.
And we know it’s not just the frequency that matters, it’s the day. OakPay can do a payroll run  every day, except public holidays. This means we can align with your agency or client payroll schedule to keep everything running smoothly.

HOW MUCH WILL I GET PAID?

HOW WILL I GET PAID?

OakPay sends pay via electronic banking (EFT), which means funds are transferred directly into your bank account. Usually, you will receive cleared funds by midnight the day we process the payroll, or by the follwoing morning.

HOW DO I KNOW WHEN I'LL BE PAID?

We will allign your payments with your recruiters pay cycle, or you can choose our premium servcie for a custom payroll schedule to suit your requirements. On pay day we will send you a text message letting you know when your payroll has been paid. We will also email you a payslip with your pay details to your nominated email address.

HOW DO I SIGN UP & HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE?

CAN I SALARY SACRIFICE SUPERANNUATION?

Yes, we can organise additional superannuation to be paid to your super fund via Salary Sacrifice. To do this you will need to complete a super form.

WHAT IS THE TIMESHEET DEADLINE?

The standard process requires an approved timeshee to be submitted by 5:00 pm on a Monday. However this can vary depending on the timesheet frequency arrangements with your client organisation. When you sign up with OakPay we will provide you with a personalised pay schedule detailing your particular pay cycle. 

WILL I STILL GET PAID IF I DON'T GET MY TIMESHEET APPROVED?

This is between you and your supervisor. OakPay loves helping you get paid, however timesheet approval is up to you.

WHOSE RESPONSIBILITY IS IT TO GET MY TIMESHEET APPROVED?

WHAT INSURANCES AM I COVERED FOR?

As a PAYG contractor you are covered for Professional Indemnity and Public Liability Insurance – up to $20,000,000 each. These are the insurances you are required to have to work as a contractor.

WHAT HAPPENS IF I CHANGE CONTRACTS?

OakPay can certainly help you out. If you are finishing a contract and have another contract arranged, simply put us in touch with your recruiter or agency and we will sort out the paperwork.

WHAT ARE THE RATE CONDITIONS?

Our rate is 1.5% including all services and insurances, except in the following situations:

  1. Payment in Advance. If you require to be paid before we receive payment from your recruiter then our rate changes 2.75%. This is necessary to cover the cost of financing the payment.
  2. Rate under $60/hour. Rates under $60/hour incurs a flat fee of $1.55/hour instead of the usual 1.5%. If the rate is less than $60/hour and you wish to be paid in advance then our rate is a flat $2.25/hour
